Founder and President of KZA Engineering (1991), a multi-disciplined, multi-office engineering firm providing surveying, planning, site engineering, landscape architecture, transportation consulting, Geotechnical Engineering, permit processing, and computerized virtual renderings to private and public clientele.
Mr. Kenderian has over 30 years experience in construction management and design engineering. Mr. Kenderian has become prime planner and designer on numerous noteworthy state-of-the-art retail projects and has published several articles about shopping center development and design, due diligence process, the business of entitlement and is regularly consulted by various professional publications.
Co-Founder with Peter Ritchings of Environmental Management Group, Inc. (1998 to Present), an environmental consulting services firm that has expanded and continues to service clients throughout the tri-state area. General services include wetlands specialization, CAFRA Permits, Groundwater and Contamination Studies, and Remediation.
Co-Founder and General Business Manager of Nelson-Kenderian Associates, Consulting Engineers (1984). Supervised the Site Engineering, Environmental, and Surveying Departments. Responsible for the design of projects throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania, including regional shopping centers, industrial/office parks, major housing complexes and public improvement projects.
McDonald’s Corp. (1980). Responsible for the design, development, and construction of New York and New Jersey McDonald’s Restaurants. Developed the first two system-wide McDonald’s restaurants located on a toll road.
Project Engineer, Abbington-Ney Associates (1975). Responsible for site engineering design and management of projects ranging from housing complexes, shopping malls to public roadway design and theme parks.
Construction Project Manager, C.R.G. Corporation (1973). Construction process and construction management on $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 construction projects. Pioneer of early computerized Critical Path Construction Scheduling.
